1. Introduction

January 27 08 2010, Rector of National University of Ho Chi Minh City has signed Decision No. 1189/QD-DHSP established Faculty of Information Technology, on the basis of the Department of Computer Science under the Faculty of Mathematics - Informatics Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Currently, the Department is managing the implementation of training and two sectoral codes, university education: Pedagogy and Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology. The training program of the Science majors are designed to ensure the best possible graduates assume positions of teaching and research in secondary schools, universities and colleges; meet needs of a variety of information technology engineers working in corporations, companies, professional unit or application of information technology at home and abroad
